Chefs Pantry Partners with From Our Garden Microgreens
We are delighted to announce our new partnership bringing fresh microgreens to Cape Town events from From Our Garden, a microgreens grower based in Noordhoek, Cape Town. It’s a collaboration that feels like a natural fit — their commitment to sustainable, locally grown produce aligns perfectly with the way we approach food at Chefs Pantry.
Who Are From Our Garden?
From Our Garden is a dedicated micro-farm growing fresh microgreens year-round from their home in Noordhoek. They currently offer seven varieties, including broccoli, mustard, purple kohlrabi, red cabbage, radish mix, and fresh pea and sunflower shoots – with new varieties added regularly. Custom requests are also welcome, including beets, basil, coriander, and rocket.
Their produce is available to home cooks, health enthusiasts, restaurant chefs, and wholesale buyers alike. As they put it: “From our garden to your plate — it’s that simple.”
Why Microgreens in Cape Town?
For microgreens in Cape Town, From Our Garden sets the standard. Microgreens are young vegetable greens harvested at 2.5–8 cm tall. Despite their small size, they are nutritionally remarkable — studies suggest they contain significantly more nutrients than their fully grown counterparts, with concentrated levels of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.
